Our mission
To champion the use of mains water over the consumption of bottled water and to convert Malta to the benefits of this precious and natural resource.
Tap water quality in Malta has greatly improved in recent years but the taste is variable. This has led to bottled water consumption developing at an astronomical rate meaning unnecessary energy use in the production of the container and then the pollution caused from its disposal. Some stats are below.
This is where we come in! Installing a filter at the point of dispensing the water, significantly improves the taste. It’s simple really. Easy, clean, safe, saves money on bottled water, and it’s good for you and good for the planet!
Our goals
To give everyone access to clean, safe, mains-fed water that forms part of a healthy diet and is a fundamental human right.
To significantly improve the taste of mains-fed water in Malta.
To demonstrate the different filter options available on the market and show how they work and how effective they are.
To help Malta reduce its bottled water consumption, positively impacting the island’s waste issues and improving the island’s environment.
To educate people about the role and major improvements made by the Water Services Corporation (WSC) in the last 10 years.
